Seal Skiving

Our customer had two pieces of existing equipment on their floor that they wished to automate with a robot. We created this robot cell adding a small dial table assembling the parts and presenting them to the orbital riveter while the robot was loading the skiver from a part rack. The robot then unloaded the dial table and loaded a new part. This reduced their labor content to a fraction of what it was and was easily justified on a three shift basis.
